A slim fit knitted polo shirt made from 100% extra-fine merino wool. The yarn is spun in Italy and knitted on traditional Bentley frame machines, giving the fabric a smooth, lightweight handle and a clean surface.
The fine rib trims and simple polo shape make it a refined alternative to a cotton polo shirt, with the natural breathability and softness of merino. It works well under tailoring or worn on its own through the changing seasons.

Merino is one of the world’s finest wools – the result of over 700 years of careful breeding. Our merino is particularly fine at 19 microns, less than a fifth the diameter of a human hair, giving it a smooth, gentle feel against the skin. Spinning such delicate fibres demands specialist skill.
We source our merino from Piedmont in northern Italy, from a spinner established in 1817 that works only with ethically farmed, non-mulesed sheep. The yarn is knitted in Portugal on traditional Bentley frame machines originally from Loughborough, England. These heritage machines produce a compact, clean knit that is both refined and durable.
Naturally breathable and temperature regulating, extra-fine merino is ideal for layering in any season, offered in a variety of classic and contemporary styles from crew neck jumpers to half-zips and polo shirts.
